Star City, Dhangadhi has entered final of 3rd JAG Shakti Gold TMT Sudurpaschim Gauriganga gold cup football tournament in Gauriganga, Kailali.

Star City got walkover from Racing Sahara club, Kohalpur.

Kohalpur didn't field the players after organizers demanded work permit of three players they were fielding.

In protest, Racing Sahara left the field. Organizers then decided to award the win to Star City as per tournament regulation.

Meanwhile, club has taken action against Racing Sahara with NRs 50,000 fine for not playing the game.

Four Brothers FC, Nawalparasi will play against Bardiya in the second semifinal match on Tuesday.

Gauiganga XI sports club is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of NRs 4 lakh.
