Ward No. 3 has entered the semi-finals of the Ilam Nagar Cup Ward Level Knockout Football Tournament.

Ward No. 3 defeated Ward No. 8 3-0 in the third quarter-final at Tundikhel ground and managed to enter the last four.

Ward No. 3 scored all three goals in the second half in the match. In the 49th minute, Bikram Tamang scored the first goal for Ward No. 3. Mingma Gurung scored two consecutive goals in the 54th and 56th minutes to ensure the team's victory.

Mingma Gurung of Ward No. 3, who scored two goals in the match, was declared the man of the match. The organizers informed that the final quarterfinal match on Tuesday, Magh 3, will be between Ward No. 10 and Ward No. 5.

The winner of the competition organized by the City Sports Development Committee, Ilam, will receive a cash prize of 1,50,000 and the runner-up will receive 75,000. The final match of the tournament, in which a total of 12 teams are participating, will be held on the 7th of Magh.
