Nepal have suffered yet another final defeat at the hands of India. India defeated Nepal 4-0 in the SAFF U17 Championship final in Sri Lanka at the Racecourse Stadium today.

Nepal couldn't continue the momentum of a group stage win against India and a stellar semifinal win over Sri Lanka. 

Boby Singh, Karou Singh, Vanalalpeka Guite and Aman scored a goal each for India. Nepal, on the other hand, couldn't capitalise on their chances and had to succumb to the Indian side.

Nepal had to play the majority of the match with ten men after Nepal skipper Prashant Laksam was sent off in the 39th minute of the match.

Throughout the tournament, Nepal defeated Bhutan 2-1 and India 3-1 in the group stages and Sri Lanka 6-0 in the semifinals.
