Makwanpur: Six Matches Played In Nagswoti Veterans Running Shield

Six matches were played in the Nagswoti Veterans Running Shield 2079 in Makwanpur today.

Nagswoti Veterans B defeated Birgunj Academy 5-0 in the day's first match. Nima Lama of the winners was named the player of the match. In the day's second match, Bagarbhai Khalak defeated Hetauda Veterans 4-2. Sashi Rai of the Bagarbhai Khalak was named the player of the match.

The day's third match saw Jorpati Veterans topple Chitwan Veterans 3-0. Ramesh Gurung of the winners was named the player of the match.

In the fourth match of the day, Chabahil Veterans defeated Abhisekh Church 2-0 and Nitin Gurung bagged the player of the match award. In the fifth match of the day, Nagswoti Veterans A succumbed 2-0 to Chiya Pub Thamel Veterans.

The final match of the day saw Bagar Bhai Khalak defeat Thapa Gaun Veterans 5-0. Manoj Gurung was named the player of the match.

The winners of the tournament will receive Rs. 2,01,000 while the runners-up will receive Rs 1,01,000. The best player in the tournament will receive Rs. 50,000. The best player prize is sponsored by the Hetauda School of Management.
