Kathmandu: Dholahiti Into The Semis Of Veterans Cup

Kathmandu: Dholahiti has entered the semifinals of the First Ward President's Cup Open Veteran Football Tournament on Friday.

In the competition organized by Cha ahil Sports Club, Dholahiti defeated Nuwakot Durbar 3-2 to become the first team to reach the semifinals.

Bijay Gurung of Dholahiti scored two goals and Nitin Gurung scored one goal. Manu Gautam and Bharat Thapa of Nuwakot scored 1-1.

King Kam Sports Club and Buddhist Veteran A have also reached the quarterfinals. King Kam defeated Sindhu Sports 3-0. Bijay Bikram Shah, Bikram Karki and Pratap Shakya scored a goal each. The Buddhist got a walk over from Kalbhairav of Hetauda.
