Nepal national women's team striker Sabitra Bhandari has been awarded with the 'Player of the decade: Female' award at the Pulsar Sports Award 2077 event held at Pragya Pratisthan today.

Nepal Sports Journalism Forum organized a grand event today and awarded her with the award. Former Nepal cricket team captain Paras Khadka bagged the 'Player of the decade' award in the men's category.

A former 'Player of the year' award winner Bhandari was awarded with a Pulsar bike with the award.

Sabitra Bhandari has become a household name in Nepali football in the last few years and her goalscoring records speak for herself. She has scored a record 38 goals for the national team.
