Defending Champs Piple Youth Club Into The Semis Of 6th Rajarshi Janak Cup

Defending champions Piple Youth Club, Hetauda have qualified for the semifinals of the sixth Rajarshi Janak Cup going on in Sarlahi. Piple eased past Himalayan Sherpa Club 3-0 to book their place in the final four.
Rup Bahadur Lama, Kuldip Karki and Ritik Khadka scored a goal each for Piple in the win today.
Rup Bahadur Lama was named the player of the match. He received Rs. 10,000 cash.
Nepal Police Club will face Far Western XI in the second semifinal tomorrow.
Bagmati Municipality and Bagmati Youth Club are jointly organizing the tournament, which has a winning purse of Rs. 10 lakh.
