NRT Into The Quarterfinals Of 6th Rajarshi Janak Cup

New Road Team has qualified for the quarterfinals of the sixth Rajarshi Janak Cup going on in Sarlahi. NRT eased past Bharatpur FC 3-0 to book their place in the final eight.
After a goalless first-half, Kritish Ratna Chhunju opened the scoring in favor of NRT in the 63rd minute. A Bibek Magar own-goal in the 87th minute doubled the lead for NRT. Stephane Samir Binong rounded off a comfortable win for NRT with a goal in the 90th minute of the match
Kritish Chunchu became the man of the match with his one goal and one assist. He received Rs. 10,000 cash.
APF FC will play against Avenir FC Cameroon in Saturday's matchup.
Bagmati Municipality and Bagmati Youth Club are jointly organizing the tournament, which has a winning purse of Rs. 10 lakh.
