Taplejung is the latest district to kick off the district A Division League Football. The league is being held at two different grounds in Taplejung.

Six matches were played today. In the three matches held at Bhanu Jana School ground today, Kanchanjunga Fungling Club was victorious while Mission United Club drew 1-1 against Birendra Youth Club and Nawa Prayas Youth Club and Sangharsa Sporting Club played a goalless draw.

Kanchanjunga defeated Pathivara Youth Club by four goals to nil.

In the other three matches held at Macchapokhari Playground, Change Macchapokhari Hiti Club and Manabhara Sporting Youth Club played a goalless draw. In the other two matches, Jaljale Club defeated Shrijanshil Samajik Youth Society by 2-1 while BCS Memorial Club defeated Lalima Club by a solitary goal.
