
With a tremendous win, BBFC, Damak Jhapa has advanced to the semifinals of the ongoing Atmananda Cup Knockout Football Tournament.
On Sunday, BBFC defeated Red Horse Ilam 6-0 at Atmananda Stadium in Mangsebung, Ilam in the second quarterfinal.
Kismat Limbu scored two goals in a row in the fourth and ninth minutes of the game to give his team a two-goal advantage. In the 14th minute, Ashish Chapagain extended the lead.
In the 47th minute, Gaurav Dhimal scored BBFC's fourth goal. In the 64th minute, Rajan Dhimal scored the fifth goal, and Bikram Rai scored the sixth goal in the 67th minute.
BBFC's Kismat Limbu was named Player of the Match. He was given cash in the amount of 5,000 rupees. The third quarterfinal encounter of the tournament will be contested on Monday between Phidim Sporting Club, Panchthar, and Jhapa-11.
The winner of the competition organized by Atma Pavitra Hakchat Yakchum, Mangsebung Ilam will get Rs. 3,00,168 in cash along with the title while the runner-up will get rs. 2,00,168.
The final of the tournament being held in support of ANFA, Ilam will be played on
November 30.
