Tubord 2nd Chitwan Veterans Championship Kicks Off

Tuborg 2nd Chitwan veterans championship got underway in Bharatpur on Tuesday.

Chitwan veterans and Kal Bhairav veterans won their respective matches in the opening day.

Chitwan veterans defeated Janakpur veterans 10-0 in the first match played at Krishnpur mini stadium.

Rabindra Shrestha scored seven goals alone while Harka Raj Gurung scored another for the winners.

Kalbhairav veterans defeated Abhisek Church, Rajahar 4-2 on penalties to enter second round.

Chitwan veterans are organizing the tournament, which has a winning purse of NRs 1,50,000.
