
Hosts Bijaya Youth and Central College Bharatpur FC have entered semifinals of Veedol Hetauda gold cup football tournament.
Bijaya Youth defeated Sarlahi XI 2-0 and Bharatpur FC defeated FC Reale 4-1 in quarterfinal matches played on Sunday.
Saheed (6') and Hisub Thapaliya (72') scored apiece for the winners. Bimal Rana became the player of the match and received Nrs 5000 cash.
Earlier, Bharatpur FC defeated FC Reale 4-1 thanks to a hat trick from Glory. He scored in 35th, 37th and 69th minutes respectively to complete his hat trick. Ranjit Ale Magar scored another goal for the winners. Ranjit Tiwari scored a consolation goal for FC Reale in 57th minute. Hat trick hero Glory became the player of the match and received NRs 5000 cash.
Bagmati youth club, Sarlahi will play against Dudhauli Sports Club, Sindhuli on Monday.
Bijaya Youth Club is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Nrs 1 lakh.
