Rupandehi: Nawayuwa Wins Title Of Nawayuwa Tikuligadh Cup

Nawayuwa sports & cultural family has lifted the title of Nawayuwa Tikuligadh cup football tournament in Rupandehi.

Nawayuwa defeated Sanjiwani yuwa club 2-1 on penalites on Saturday to lift the title.

Both teams played 0-0 draw in regulation time before inviting a spot kick battle.

The champions received NRs 25,000 and the runners up team got NRs 15,000.

Jitesh Gurung became the most valuable player of the tournament.

Highest goal scorer: Misan Darlami
Emerging player: Bijan Budha

Tilottama mayor Ram Krishna Khand, club president Toran Gurung and other guests distributed prizes to the winners.
