Everest Club secured a decisive victory to become the final team to reach the semi-finals of the 38th United Gold Cup Open Knockout Football Tournament.
In Tuesday's fourth quarter-final, Everest triumphed over Dumkibas Youth Club with a commanding 4-0 scoreline. Samir Shrestha was the standout performer, netting a hat-trick, while Bhupesh Magar added another goal. Everest will now face Watasino Young Star Youth Club in the second semi-final.
The first semi-final, scheduled for Wednesday, Ashoj 26th, will see ROds Rampur take on Bhedbari FC, as announced by the tournament organizers.
The champion of the tournament, hosted by United Youth Club in Girubari, will be awarded a cash prize of 250,000, with the runner-up receiving 150,000. The final match is set for Ashoj 29th.
