Kathmandu: CoAS 7th International Women’s Championship Kicks Off
Chief of Army Staffs (CoAS) 7th international women’s football championship got underway in Kathmandu on Sunday.
Nepal army women’s team defeated Province 1 women’s team 9-0 in the opening match.
Sharmila Thapa Magar and Rashmi Kumari Ghising scored hat trick each while Bimala Chaudhary and Sapana Lama scored apiece.
Teams from India and Bhutan are also taking part in the event.
The champions will get Nrs 3 lakh while runners up team will get Nrs 1,50,000.
Two losing semifinalist will get Nrs 50,000 each.
The MVP of the tournament will get Nrs one scooter.
