ANFA president Karma Tsering Sherpa said the FA would reward the team if they would beat Kuwait in FIFA world cup round 2 Asian qualifiers.

Nepal has been grouped with Australia, Jordan, Kuwait & Chinese Taipei. They will play first match of the campaign against Kuwait on September 5, 2019 in Kuwait city.

"We have already played against Jordan, Kuwait & Chinese Taipei. Only new team is Australia. I believe our team will create history in this qualifiers. We have quality players in the team. Experienced players like Kiran, Rohit have returned to join the team. I request all players to give their best to create history. This is the best opportunity for you in your playing career.

"We are playing against Kuwait on September 5. Please play for Nepal, for 3 crore Nepalese. We will do everything possible to make you happy. If you beat Kuwait, we will reward you", said president Sherpa in farewell program.
