NSC 16th National Women's League: NPC Beats Far Western, Central Blanks Eastern Region
Nepal Police club and Central region have won their respective matches in the on-going National Sports Council 16th national women's league at ANFA complex, Satdobato, Lalitpur.
NPC defeated Far Western region 2-1 in the first match played on Tuesday.
Niru Thapa and Nirmala Upadhaya scored apiece for the winners. Chandra Bhandari scored for Far Western.
In the second match, Central defeated Eastern region 4-0.
Rashmi Kumari Ghising (6’, 81) scored a brace while Skipper Menuka Nagarkoti (32’ P) and Sabita Rana Magar (61’) netted apiece.
ANFA is managing the tournament, which has a winning purse of Rs 2 lakh.
