Narayangarh FC has moved to the semifinals of First Janajyoti Cup Knock out tournament.

In the last quarterfinal match played at Butwal on Tuesday, Narayangarh thrashed Christian Youth Club 3-0.

Hardeep Gurung scored the leading goal in the 38th minute for Narayangarh. Shikhar Upreti doubled the lead in the 65th minute. Suresh Kumal tripled the tally in the 82nd minute.

Pritam Thapa Magar of Christian Youth Club was adjudged the man of the match.

Hosts Janajyoti Club will take on Desh Bhakta Youth Club in the first semifinal match on Wednesday.

Total sixteen teams are taking part in the tournament.

Champions will receive one lakh one thousand and eleven rupees while runners-up team will get fifty five thousand five hundred and fifty five rupees.
