Sankata Club has entered semifinals of CMS Bharatpur gold cup football tournament in Chitwan.

Sankata club defeated Jawalakhel youth club 3-2 in tie breaker on Monday at Campa Chaur, Narayangadh to enter semifinals.

Both teams played 0-0 draw in regulation time before inviting a spot kick battle.

Sankata club skipper Amit Tamang became the man of the match and received Nrs 10,000 cash.

Nepal APF will play against Birgunj United in another quarterfinal match on Tuesday.
