Kapilvastu: Jharna Sports Club Wins Title Of 1st Mukti, Rajendra, Rajesh & Om Prakash Memorial Cup

Jharna sports club has lifted the title of 1st Mukti, Rajendra, Rajesh & Om Prakash Memorial Cup football tournament in Kapilvastu.

Jharna defeated Banganga Welfare society 3-2 on tie breaker on Wednesday to lift the title. Both teams played 1-1 draw in regulation time.

The champions received Nrs 2 lakh and runners up team got Nrs 1 lakh.

Barsaat Gurung was adjudged the most valuable player of the tournament.

Best GK: Manish Gurung

Best DF: David Gurung

Best MF: Roshan Sen

Best FW: Bishwas Shrestha

Best coach: Nil Prashad Chantyal

Highest goal scorer: Suraj Ale

Tarun dal Kapilvastu district committee organized the championship.
