Hosts New Srijana yuwa club has entered quarterfinals of 4th New Srijana cup knockout football championship in Rupandehi.

New Srijana defeated Tamu Sangh, Bhairahawa 3-1 on Wednesday.

Anish Gurung, Bipin Bhandari and Nabin Mahato scored apiece for the winners. Aashish Thapa scored one for the losing side.

Anish Gurung became the man of the match.

Jharna sports club will take on Good Morning FC in today's match, according to tournament coordinator Sher Bahadur Gurung.

The championship has a winning purse of Nrs 1 lakh.
