Desbhakta yuwa club has entered semifinals in 1st Jana Jyoti cup in Butwal, Rupandehi.

Desbhakta defeated Siddhartha FC 3-0 in the quarterfinal match played on Saturday.

Laxman Ruchal and Nabin Mahato scored apiece for the winners. Another goal was scored in an own post.

Rejina Subba from Siddhartha became the player of the match.

Sixteen teams are participating in the championship, which has a winning purse of Rs 1,11,111.

The final match will be played on Poush 15.
