Hosts Bagmati municipality progressed to semifinals defeating Friends Club, Lalitpur 1-0 in quarterfinal match of 3rd Rajarshi Janak cup football tournament at Santosh Shrestha memorial ground, Bagmati, Sarlahi on Sunday.

Ritik Khadka scored the match winner in the 87th minute.

Jhapa XI will play against Paro FC, Bhutan in the quarterfinal match on Monday.
