News ANFA Joins Hands With Chinese FA; Signs MoU For Football Development

All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has joined hands with Chinese FA for the development of Nepalese football.

ANFA president Karma Tsering Sherpa & Chinese FA's acting president Du Zhaocai, who is also vice sports minister signed in the MoU at Hotel Himalaya on Thursday.

The agreement between Chinese FA and ANFA is for four years.

According to the deal, both teams will exchange programs. Chinese FA will help Nepal men's and women's team in international exposure, will support Nepal in infrastructure development.

ANFA also requested Chinese FA to send regional and state teams from China in Nepalese gold cups.

Speaking in the program, ANFA president Sherpa said he was delighted to welcome Chinese FA president to Nepal.

Chinese FA prez Du Zhaocai said, "On behalf of Chinese FA, we would like to thank ANFA for nice welcome. It's good that we are going to work together and it is very important for both of us.

"Bilateral relationship between Nepal and China is special. Today we have laid foundation and it will work for Nepal national teams and youth teams", said Zhaocai.

He added, "Nepalese football is improving in recent years. Football has taken pace under chairmanship of Karma Tsering Sherpa".

Earlier ANFA had signed MoU with Qatar FA for football exchange programs.
