SAFF women's championship local organizing committee (LOC) meeting was held in Biratnagar, Morang on Wednesday.

Nepal is hosting SAFF Women's championship from March 12-22 in Biratnagar. This is the first time Biratnagar is going to host mega event. 

ANFA officials met CM of province 1, Sherdhan Rai and other security chiefs in a meeting.

CM Rai asked officials to make proper security plan for the event.

Biratnagar mayor Bhim Parajuli, ANFA president Karma Tsering Sherpa and other officials were present in the meeting.

Seven SAARC countries will take part in the event.
