Swotantra club defeated Phidim sporting club 2-0 to enter semifinals of 1st Phidim city gold cup football tournament.

Suman Gurung (58') and Sandesh Rai (77') scored apiece for the winners.

Arjun Gurung became the man of the match.

Swotantra club is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Rs 1 lakh.
