Jhapa gold cup organizing committee has made a profit of Rs 19 lakh from 3rd edition.

Tournament organizing committee president Mahendra Kumar Giri told press on Monday that they had collected Rs 1 crore 23 lakh.

"We spent Rs 10407776 to make a profit of Rs 19 lakh", said Giri.

"We haven't included the money promised by some donors. There are many donors who haven't provided their promised money", he added.

The organizing committee had made  Rs 16 lakh from first edition and Rs 36 lakhs from 2nd edition.

Jhapa XI president Jal Kumar Gurung said they would make the event memorable one next edition.

The committee is planning to establish welfare fund with the collected money.
