DYC Kotimai defeated Sunaulo Shanti yuwa club 1-0 in the opening match played on Tuesday.

Ramesh Karki scored the match winner. DYC goalie Yam Chhetri became the man of the match.

Pharsatikar will play against Bishwo Shanti yuwa club on Wednesday.

12 teams are participating in the championship, which has a winning purse of Rs 1,51,000. Runners up team will get Rs 81,000.
