News B.B.C. Myanglung Tehrathum Claims Title at Netra Guragai Smriti Gold Cup 2081

B.B.C. Myanglung Tehrathum emerged victorious at the Netra Guragai Smriti Gold Cup 2081, held in Manlung, Tehrathum. In a commanding final match on Saturday, B.B.C. defeated Chhathar Jorpati Dhankuta with a score of 4-1.

Milan Chamling Rai was instrumental in B.B.C.'s triumph, scoring all four goals for his team. Hari Magar netted the only goal for Dhankuta.

As champions, B.B.C. Tehrathum received a trophy, medal, certificate, and a cash prize of two lakhs. The runner-up, Chhathar Jorpati Dhankuta, received a trophy, medal, certificate, and a cash prize of one lakh.

Individual awards included Best Defender, which went to Bibus Limbu of Chhathar Jorpati Dhankuta; Best Goalkeeper, awarded to Prameez Gachchdar of B.B.C. Tehrathum; and Best Player, Milan Chamling Rai of B.B.C.

Additionally, Mixon Das of Chhathar Jorpati was named Top Scorer, and Udayamin's Asim Rai received a special recognition. Each awardee received a trophy and 3000 rupees.

The tournament, celebrating Lakhejatra and Srikrishna Janmashtami, commenced on Bhadra 6.

Prabin Mote, Chairman of the Myanglung Spotting Club, expressed satisfaction with the successful completion of the event.
