Chitwan District League: Panas and BFC clash for title

Panas Yuwa Club and Hanami Bharatpur Football Club (BFC) will compete for the title of Central College Chitwan District A Division League Football.

Panas and BFC confirmed the title clash by winning the semi-final match that was completed today (Monday). In the first semi-final held at Bharatpur 7 Krishnapur ground, Panas easily won 5-1 against Madi 11.

In the victory of Panas, Suman Gurung scored two goals and Padam Nepali, Roman Thapa and Sandeep scored one goal each. Suman scored in the 37th and 80th minutes. Padam scored in the 22nd minute, Roman in the 61st minute and Sandeep in the third minute of extra time. Madi's Ritesh Chhetri scored the only goal in the 75th minute.

In the second semi-final held today, BFC defeated Hardi Yuva Samaj 3-1. In his victory, Suman scored two goals and Sandesh Shrestha scored one goal. Hardi's Santosh Thing returned a goal. BFC took the lead in the 27th minute of the match with Suman's goal. BFC doubled their lead in the 50th minute after he scored his second personal goal. Hardi's Santosh scored in the 51st minute. Hardy, who had a poor performance, indicated that he would return to the game after that goal, but BFC pressed again. BFC won 3-1 after Sandesh scored in the second minute of extra time.

With this, Panas and BFC will face each other for the second time in the tournament. Earlier, when these two teams met in the league stage, Panas won 2-0. The title clash will be held on Wednesday.

The winner will get a trophy and Rs 1 lakh and the runner-up will get Rs 50,000. Central College of Vocational Training Pvt Ltd is the main sponsor of the tournament organized by Chitwan District Football Association.
