Morang won the title of Koshi province level inter-district men's football tournament which was held on Saturday at Myanglung Stadium in Tehrathum.

Morang won the title by defeating Okhaldhunga 2-0 in the final match.

Ashok Khawas and Simon Limbu scored one goal for Morang. Along with the title, Morang received a trophy medal and certificate with 333,333,333 rupees, while the runner-up Okhaldhunga was satisfied with a trophy medal and certificate with 222,222 rupees.

The best player of the tournament was Sushil Rai from Morang, best midfielder Manash Rai from Okhaldhunga, best defender Ashok Khawas from Morang, best forward Sushil Rai from Morang, best goalkeeper Purna Chemjong from Morang, man of the match Mausham Limbu from Morang, emerging player Upsan Limbu from Tehrathum and best coach Prakash Malla from Morang. All of them received NRs 11,111, trophies and certificates.

Organized by Koshi Province Sports Development board, co-organized by Myanglung Municipality and Sports Development Committee Terhathum, the competition started on Jestha 3rd and ended with grandeur on Jestha 8th. All 14 districts of Koshi region participated in the competition.
