Terathum, Nepal – The much-anticipated Historic Madan Mela 2081 is set to commence on Jestha 13 at Sakranti Bazar, Terahthum.

Supported by Aaatharai Rural Municipality, this vibrant festival will be held at the Tri-Mohan school grounds and promises a wide array of exciting activities.

The highlight of the event is the grand prize of NRs 2 lakh for the winners. In addition to the main football tournament, Madan Mela will feature a variety of cultural and sporting events, including the traditional Dhan Naach, a volleyball tournament, and a dance competition. A special women’s football match is also scheduled, underscoring the festival’s commitment to promoting gender equality in sports.
