Nepal Police Club has entered the finals of the ongoing Jagdamba Steel 14th Jitpursimra Gold Cup Knockout Football Tournament.
In the second semi-final held on Saturday, Police defeated another departmental team APF Football Club by 3-2 and entered the final.
Ramchandra Waji, Sujan Magar and Ashish Rai scored goals for Police in the match at Simra Stadium. Pradeep Lama and Yuvraj Khadka scored for the defeated APF. Police's Ramchandra Vaji was also elected man of the match.
Police will face Machchindra Football Club, Kathmandu for the title in the final on Monday 3rd Baisakh. Machindra has already entered the final after defeating Salhesh Yuva Club, Siraha on Friday alone.
The winner of the competition organized by Nava Jana Jagriti Yuva Club, Jitpursimra-2, Bara will receive 10 lakhs in cash along with the title, while the runner-up will receive 5 lakhs.
