The final of the Central College First Bharatpur Football Championship will be held on Saturday. On Saturday, Central College 28 Bigah FC and Abukhaireni Rural Municipality will meet for the title.
Before the final, in the pre-match conference held today (Friday), the managers of both teams said that they will enter the field with the goal of winning the title. 28 Bigah FC manager Mahesh Adhikari said that they are ready for the title clash.
He said that he will enter the field with the goal of correcting the mistakes of the previous games and winning the title. "We are ready for the finals. Our goal is to win the first Bharatpur championship," he said.
Abu Khaireni's manager Ibus Dhakal said that he will not make the mistake of underestimating the opposition. But he said that his team is a contender for the title. "We will not take the opposition lightly but we are title contenders", he said.
28 Bigah defeated Ghairung FC in sudden death in the semi-final and entered the final. On the other hand, Abu Khaireni defeated Gaindakot 3-0 and confirmed the title clash with 28 Bigas.
The tournament organized by Chitwan 11 Football Club will continue till 10th of Chait. The winner of the competition will receive Rs 3 lakh 3 thousand and the runner-up will get Rs 1 lakh 50 thousand. The competition has been organized on the occasion of Bharatpur visit year 2024.
