The 14th edition of Itahari Gold Cup International Invitational Knockout Football Tournament is going to be organized under lights.

According to the organizers, the matches of the tournament at Itahari stadium will start from 6 pm.

A total of eight teams will participate in the competition which is going to be held from 10th to 17th of Chait. Among them are Tribhuvan Army Football Club, Kanchanjunga FC (India), Sagarmatha Youth Club, New Road team (NRT), Church Boys United, ARPF FC, Rashtriya Jagriti Club, Itahari and Birtamod United, Jhapa.

The winner of the competition, whose main sponsor is Control Lubricants, will receive a cash prize of 10 lakhs along with the title, while the runner-up will receive 5 lakhs.

According to the organizers, attractive prizes have also been arranged for the best players in individual categories.
