Four matches were completed on Tuesday in the late Dilip Rana Memorial International Invitational Chitwan Veteran Cup.
The host Chitwan Veteran Red has been defeated in the first match of the tournament. Chitwan lost 1-0 against Veteran Bhanimandal.
Similarly, in the second match, NRT FC Veteran defeated Simara Veteran. NRT won the match in tiebreaker 3-1. The game was decided by a tiebreaker after the scheduled time ended in a goalless draw.
Thapagaun Improvement Committee won the third match. Thapagaun defeated Takami Veteran in sudden death. The game was pushed to a tiebreaker after the scheduled time was tied at 1-1.
In today's fourth match, Thamel 11 veterans defeated Gorkha Boys Veteran 3-2 in a tiebreaker. Thamel's goalkeeper Rupam Gurung was the man of the match.
Four matches will be held on Wednesday in the tournament organized by Chitwan Veteran Football Club. The winner of the competition, which will be held until February 12, will receive 1 lakh and the runner-up will receive 75 thousand along with a trophy.
