The 20th edition of the prestigious NSJF Pulsar Sports Awards will be held at the Lal Durbar Hall of Nepal's prestigious five-star hotel Yak & Yeti.

Regarding this, an agreement has been reached between Hotel Yak and Yeti and Nepal Sports Journalists Forum (NSJF) regarding the main venue of the event. The agreement letter has been signed by Yak & Yeti General Manager Monika Scheiblauer and Forum President Durganath Subedi. According to the agreement, Hotel Yak & Yeti will be the hospitality partner of the 20th edition of Pulsar Sports Awards.

After the agreement, General Manager Monika Saiblavar said that she was proud to join this prestigious award program that awards Nepali athletes. Durganath Subedi, president of the platform, says, 'In the past, the platform has been holding awards programs among a large number of viewers, so this year we have chosen a five-star hotel to present it in a different format.

The Pulsar Sports Awards will be held on Magh 28. The names of the players who will be nominated in the People's Choice category of the award program in 9 different categories have been announced. Anant Tamang of football, Biplavlal Shrestha of karate, Niruta Thagunna of volleyball, Sikka Suwal Shrestha of table tennis and Rajni Shrestha of physical fitness are competing for the People's Choice.

The winner of this category will be based on e-service voting, forum member's vote, social media (NSJF Pulsar Sports Awards official Facebook page and Pulsar Nepal official page) and 27 sports chief coach's vote.

Pulsar Sports Award 2079 in other categories 1. Male Player of the Year, 2. Female Player of the Year, 3. Coach of the Year, 4. Young Player of the Year 5. Para athlete honors, 6. Special Award, 7. Lifetime Achievement Award and 8. There is an Asian Sports Journalist Award.

Best Sportsperson of the Year, Best Sportsperson of the Year, Best Sportsperson of the Year, Best Sportsperson of the Year, Best Coach of the Year and the winner of the People's Choice category will get a Pulsar motorcycle. Winners of other categories will receive 50,000 rupees each. They will get various gift hampers. The nominations for male, female, youth and coach players of the year will be announced in a few days.

The non-nominated categories Lifetime, Special, Para Athlete and Asian Sports Journalist will be announced on the day of the event. This year too, Bajaj Pulsar Motorcycles of Hansraj Hulaschand & Company will be the main sponsor of the NSJF Pulsar Sports Awards. Other co-sponsors and collaborators include E-Sewa, Surya Nepal Pvt Ltd, Subisu, Plaza Group of Hotels, Royal Singhi Hotel, Lalpurja Nepal, National Sports Council and Nepal Olympic Committee (NOC).
