
Manish Timsina, the football goalkeeper coach, has become the first Nepali to receive the AFC Goalkeeping 'A' diploma license.
Manish has obtained Goalkeeping A license through the course organized by Football Association of Malaysia (FAM). Manish has been the goalkeeper coach of I-League club Gokulam Kerala for three years. He is currently in Odisha with his team for the Kalinga Super Cup.
He is also the first Nepali coach to join the I-League. He has also won the I League title.
Manish worked as a goalkeeper coach of Manang Marsyangdi Club in Shahi Smarak A Division League last season.
As a player from Biratnagar, he played professional football with Three Star, Ranipokhari Corner Team (RCT), Himalayan Sherpa, Bansbari, Swayambhu & Brigade Boys.
Manish won the gold medal in the 5th National Games from Purvanchal. He has also worked as a goalkeeper coach of the Nepali U-15 national team.
