News Star City Club Wins Title Of Farwest Pashupati Cup

6th Farwest Pashupati Cup 2080 has been won by Star City Youth Club Dhangadhi.

In the final match at Dhangadhi Stadium, Star City defeated Elite Youth Club Kailari Rural Municipality Ward No. 6 Vanakatta 3-2 to become the Champion for the second time in a row. Four goals were scored in the first half and only one goal was scored in the second half in the exciting final match of the tournament organized by Farwest Pashupati Yuva Club in Dhangadhi.

The champions, Star City has received 5 lakhs in cash. Elite, who became the runner-up for the first participation, settled for 2 lakhs in cash.

Star City has captured most of the categories of the competition. Star City's Pradeep Lama became the best player of the tournament. He received 25,000 in cash. Star City's Amanat Sekh was the best goalkeeper, Kuver Singh was the top scorer. They received 15,000 in cash each. Star City's Nilesh Bist became the best coach. He got 10,000 in cash. Chetan Tharu the best defender. He also received 15,000 in cash. Sushil Vishwakarma of the host Farwest Pashupati Youth Club became an emerging player. He received 15,000 in cash.

Prizes were distributed to the winning players during a ceremony. The chief guest of the closing program, Dipak Bahadur Singh, member secretary of Sudurpaschim Pradesh Sports Council, Rajendra Kumar Rawat, chief executive officer of Non-Resident Nepali Association, and other special guests distributed prizes to the winning players.
