News Sunsari: APF Pakali Wins Title Of 1st Altitude Running Cup

APF Pakali, Sunsari have won the title of the first Altitude Running Cup knockout football tournament.

In the final, APF Pakali defeated Altitude Football Club, Barampur, Sunsari 1-0 to become the champion. Buddiman Rai scored the only decisive goal in APF's victory.

APF, who became the winner, got Rs 2,22,222 in cash along with the title, while Altitude had to settle for Rs 1,11,111 in trophies, medals and certificates.

Pravesh Basnet of Altitude was declared Man of the Match in the final match. He received cash 2500 and a trophy for that. Dil Kumar Limbu of APF was chosen as the best goalkeeper.

Sandeep Pradhan of Altitude was the best defender and Umesh Rai of Altitude was also declared the best midfielder. Altitude's Bhuvan Basnet also won the best forward award.

APF's Ganesh Lawati was declared the best coach while Altitude's Yogen Karki was chosen as the outstanding player. Wise Rai of APF became the top scorer.

Asim Rai of Altitude was declared the best player of the tournament. All those who excelled in the individual category received 25-25 hundred and a trophy.

The winning players were awarded by the chief guest of the closing program, National Sports Council Member-Secretary Tanklal Ghising and others.
