The preparations for the 3rd Barahkshetra Gold Cup International Invitational Football Tournament, commencing on October 29th under the banner of 'Our Goal Against Drug Abuse,' have been successfully finalized.

The organizing committee has officially announced that the tournament's inauguration will feature an exciting clash between Barah Kshetra-11 and Baklauri Football Club.

This anticipated opening match is scheduled to take place at the Mahendra Mavi's Playground, located in Chakrabhatti, Barah Kshetra-6.

The victor of this prestigious tournament, orchestrated by the Chakrabhatti Football Club of Barah Kshetra-6, Chakrabhatti, Sunsari, shall be awarded a substantial cash prize of 2 lakhs, in addition to the coveted title.

Meanwhile, the runner-up will be honored with a trophy, medals, and certificates, along with a generous prize of 1 lakh.

The culmination of this sporting extravaganza, which boasts participation from a total of eight teams representing Nepal and India, is slated to unfold on the 6th day of Kartik. Notably, Goalnepal.com has been officially designated as the media partner for this tournament.
