Bangladesh defeated Maldives 3-1 to remain in Bangabandhu SAFF championship 2023.

Hamza mohamed scored for Maldives in 17th minute while Rakib leveled the score in 42nd minute. Tariq and Mohamed Ibrahim scored apiece in the second half to make the scoreline 3-1.

Both teams have three points each from two matches.

Now, Bangladesh will play against Bhutan while Maldives will play against Lebanon next.

Bhutan is playing against Lebanon later this evening.
