Nepal have registered a comfortable win over Bangladesh in a friendly at the Dasharath Stadium. Nepal defeated Bangladesh 3-1 in a friendly game as part of the FIFA international break.
Interim head coach Pradip Humagain had included nine players axed by Abdullah Almutairi in the Asian Cup qualifiers in June. And it was an Anjan Bista show upon his return to the national team.
Anjan gave Nepal the lead in the 18th minute of the match off a header from a Bimal Gharti Magar cross. He doubled the lead in the 27th minute, pouncing on a rebound off a Tej Tamang shot.
Anjan completed his hat-trick in the 38th minute to give Nepal a 3-0 lead in the first half. Sazzad Hossen pulled one back for Bangladesh in the 55th minute but Bangladesh couldn't score further and Nepal were victorious.
Anjan takes his international goal tally to 10 goals surpassing Bharat Khawas and Bimal Gharti Magar's nine goals each for Nepal.
Aashish Chaudhary and Ritik Khadka debuted for Nepal in this match, coming on in the 81st minute of the match.
