Ilam: Fikkal United Clinches Title Of 3rd Sandakpur Gold Cup

Fikkal United has clinched the title of 3rd Sandakpur gold cup football tournament in Ilam.

Fikkal United defeated Buttabari United 3-2 in the final match played on Friday.

Nayan Pradhan (12'), Saurav Karki (23') and Shekhar Rai (58') scored apiece for the winners. Roman Khawas scored both goals for the losing side.

The champions received NRs 1,51,000.

Sarjan Limbu became the best goalkeeper, Ayush Chhetri the best defender and Shekhar Rai the highest goal scorer. All of them got NRs 4000 cash each.

MP Mahesh Basnet, Sandakpur rural municipality chairman Tula Bahadur Gurung and other guests distributed prizes to the winners.
