Nepalgunj XI has entered semifinals of Kanchan cup 2079.

Nepalgunj XI defeated DMC Tulsipur 4-1 in the quarterfinal match played on Wednesday. Faguram Tharu and Bhupendra Shahi scored brace each for the winners.

Suraj Chaudhary scored a consolation goal for DMC.

Bhupendra Shahi became the player of the match.

12 teams are taking part in the event, which is organized by Himalaya Community development centre.
