7th Rajarshi Janak Cup: Hosts Bagmati Club Thrashes Dharan To Enter QFs

Hosts Bagmati club, Sarlahi thrashed Dharan FC 3-1 to enter quarterfinals of 7th Rajarshi Janak Cup.

Srijan Gautam scored a brace while Bimal Ghising & Dipesh Chamling scored apiece for the winners. Another goal was scored in an own post by Dharan skipper Suraj BK.

Two goal hero Gautam became the player of the match and received total NRs 15000 in cash.

Bagmati will play against Machhindra club on Falgun 3.

12 teams are taking part in the event, which has a winning purse of NRs 10 lakh. Runners up team will get NRs 5 lakh.

The MVP of the tournament will get NRS 51,000.
