Nawalparasi (GoalNepal) - The fifth Sarawal President's Cup National Knockout Football Tournament, which has the second-highest prize money in the Nawalparasi district, is going to start from the 16th of oaush. The organizers said that the preparations for the tournament to be held at Basahi ground located in Sarawal-1 Nawalparasi are in the final stages.

The winners of the competition, which is being organized by Sarawal Rural Municipality, Nawalparasi and Shree Basanta Youth Club, Sarawal-1, Basahi, Nawalparasi, will receive Rs. 2,22,222 along with the title, while the runners-up will receive Rs. 1,11,111.

Similarly, the organizers informed that attractive prizes have been arranged for the individual categories as well. According to the organizers, a total of 14 best teams from Nawalparasi, Rupandehi, Kapilvastu, Navalpur, Chitwan and India will participate in the competition.

Chairman of Sarawal Rural Municipality Sukhadi Prasad Chuudhary said that they decided to organize the tournament with the aim of making Nawalparasi known throughout the country through the popular game of football and supporting domestic tourism through football. He also said that he will try his best to complete the competition in a dignified and grand manner.
