Kathmandu (GoalNepal) - Three important members of the departmental team Tribhuvan Army Football Club women's football team; Sapna Lama, Poonam Jargha Magar and Deepa Rai have left for the UN Peace Mission.

According to TAFC, these three have left for the African country of South Sudan as part of a mission. The club informed that they will spend a year on the mission.

Poonam and Deepa are also former regular members of the National Women's Football Team. Poonam recently retired from international football after the Women's SAFF Championship at home due to ill health. However, these three players plan to continue playing club football after returning from the mission.
