Morang (GoalNepal) - Salahesh Youth Club, Siraha have entered the quarter-finals of the fifth edition of the Belbari Buddha Air International Invitational Gold Cup Football Tournament. In the tournament's opening match, Salahesh defeated MFC, Darjeeling 3-1 to start their campaign with a win.

Fode Fofana scored twice for Salahesh while Dinesh Henjan scored one for Salahesh. Satyam Sharma scored the only goal for MFC.

Fode Fofana was adjudged the player of the match. He received Rs. 5,000 cash prize.

Rolling FC, Jhapa and hosts Dangihat Youth Club, Morang will face each other in the first quarterfinal tomorrow.

The winners of the tournament will receive a whopping eight lakh rupees while the runners-up will receive four lakh rupees. A total of ten teams, including three teams from abroad, are competing in the tournament.

The player of the tournament organized by Dangihat FC will receive Rs. 25,000 while the best defender, goalkeeper, midfielder, top scorer and rising player each will receive Rs. 15,000.
