Avenir FC, Cameroon, have entered the semi-finals of the ongoing Isuzu Chitwan Gold Cup International Invitational Football Tournament with a narrow victory.

In the second quarter-final held on Tuesday, Avenir defeated Farsatikar Youth Club, Rupandehi by 1-0 and entered the last four. In the victory of Avenir, the only decisive goal was scored by Syangu in the 51st minute of the game.

Syangu was chosen as the player of the match. He received Rs. 10,000 cash and a trophy as an award.

The third quarter-final on Wednesday will be played between the organizers KBA Global Bharatpur FC, Chitwan and APF Football Club, Kathmandu.

The winner of the tournament organized by KBA Global Bharatpur FC, Chitwan, will get a cash prize of Rs. 7,00,000 and the runners-up will receive Rs. 3,50,000. The final match will be held on October 3rd.
